Matthew Morrison
Matthew Morrison is an American actor, dancer, singer, and songwriter born in Fort Ord, California on October 30, 1978. He is known for his work in theater on and off Broadway and for his role as Will Schuester on the show Glee. While in college he was already a regular performer on Broadway. He made his debut in theater in the Broadway production of the musical Footloose. He continued landing roles in productions on and off Broadway, including The Rocky Horror Show, Tarzan, Hairspray, 10 Million Miles, South Pacific and more. In 1999 he made his debut in film in the movie Bob Rizzo’s Siply Funk with Suzanne and has since had roles in the films Marci X, Music and Lyrics, I Think I Love My Wife, Underdogs, The Muppets, Once Upon a Mattress and others. Morrison made his debut on television in 1999 in the show Sex and the City. He has also had roles in the shows Hack, Taking Chance, Glee, CSI: Miami, As The World Turns, Numb3rs and more. In 2011 he released his debut studio album self-titled Matthew Morrison. He has also released the album Where It All Began and the EP A Classic Christmas. Throughout his career he has been nominated for a number of awards and has won a Screen Actors Guild Award, a Satellite Award, a Drama Desk Award, and others.
