Shea Weber
Shea Weber was born in Sicamous, BC on August 14, 1985. He has won two Olympic medals and has been a National Hockey league All-star pick. He played for the Kelowna Rockets in the Western Hockey League and with Milwaukee Admirals in the American Hockey League.
The Nashville Predators drafted him in the 2003 National Hockey League Entry Draft. He was a round two pick and a No. 49 overall pick. He won the Mark Messier Leadership Award for the 2015 to 2016 season during his last term as the captain of the Predators.
The Predators traded him to Montreal Canadiens in 2016 for P.K. Subban, and he became an alternate captain in his new team. In October 2018, he was named as the 30th captain of the Canadiens.
