Dorothy
Dorothy is a blues/funk rock band from LA, and will remind you of Black Crowes with a female lead as hard-hitting as Patti Smith. Their line-up is Dorothy Martin (lead vocals), Owen Barry (guitar), Eli Wulfmeier (guitar), Eliot Lorango (bass), Jason Ganberg (drums). Dorothy networked with her cousin, Sam Wofford, guitarist for producer Mark Jackson. Her debut was a video for her song “After Midnight,” which premiered on Vice network’s “Noisey” show.
After signing to label Roc Nation, Dorothy released the albums “Rockisdead” (2016), and “28 Days in the Valley” (2018), this last a reference to the 1996 film “2 Days in the Valley” and the 2002 film “28 Days Later.” their singles have regularly peeked into the top 40 on the Billboard US Mainstream charts.
