Patti Lupone
Patti LuPone, born Patti Ann LuPone on April the 21st 1949 in New York and is an American actress and singer. Well known for her extensive musical theatre career, she has thus far won two Grammy Awards, Two Tony Awards and has been inducted into the American Theater Hall of Fame since her start in 1972.
Well known for portraying Elizabeth Thatcher in the television series Life goes On, she has more recently made an appearance in the show Penny Dreadful where she portrayed Dr. Seward. LuPone is also well known for roles in films such as Driving Miss Daisy, the comedy State and Man and the comedy-drama film The Comedian. Some of her best known stage and musical roles include Les Miserables, Oliver!, Sunset Boulevard and Sweeney Todd.
