Towkio
Towkio was born Preston Oshita on Chicago, Illinois on June 26, 1993. He is a member of the SAVEMONEY collective founded by Vic Mensa.
In 2012, he dropped the EP Community Service with Mojek. He released the EP Hotchips N Chopstix in 2014. His next release was the mixtape .Wav Theory which featured Chance and Kaytranada, among others. He dropped the album Community Service 2! in 2016. He appeared on Chance The Rapper’s “Juke Jam” on the same year.
Towkio released another album, World Wide .Wav, in 2018. The release contained 13 tracks including the single “Drift” and ‘Swim” where Kanye West co-signed. The tracks “Symphony” featuring Teddy Jackson, “Forever” featuring Vic Mensa, “Hate To Love” featuring NJOMZA, and “2 Da Moon” featuring Teddy Jackson and Grace Weber were also part of the release.
