Chris Willis
Chris Willis, born Christopher Willis on February 26th, 1969 in Dayton, Ohio is an American singer, songwriter, and records producer. He specialises in the genres of house, EDM, gospel, R&B, pop, electronica, and Eurodance. Originally starting as a gospel singer with the Heritage Singers he released a pop-classical album called A Soulful Celebration in 1993. He also toured as a backup vocalist for Twila Paris.
In 1996 he released his debut album, Chris Willis, and was nominated for Best R&B Album at the 1996 Nashville Music Awards. He continued to do gospel music up to 1998. In 2000 he was introduced to house music and producer David Guetta by French boy band 2Be3. Together they produced the single “Just a Little More Love.” Throughout 2009 he toured with David Guetta for his One Love tour. In 2010 he released his solo single called “Louder” and received over 2 million views on his YouTube page. The song reached number 1 on Billboard’s Hot Dance Club Songs of 2011. In the same year he released an 8 song EP called Premium-Songs for the Love Ship, Vol.1”.
