Jimmy Carr

Jimmy Carr is an Irish stand-up comedian, presenter, writer, and actor born in Limerick, Ireland on September 15, 1972. Carr started his comedy career in 2000 after growing tired of his marketing job at Shell. He tours extensively and has released a number of comedy specials, including Live, Stand Up, Comedian, In Concert, Telling Jokes, Making People Laugh, Being Funny, Laughing and Joking, Funny Business, and The Best Of, Ultimate, Gold, Greatest Hits. He has been a presenter, co-presenter, or host on the shows Distraction, Have I Got News for You, The Big Fat Quiz of the Year, The Fix, A Comedy Roast, The Friday Night Project, The Inbetweeners Fwends Reunited and more. In 2006 he made his debut in film in the movie Alien Autopsy and has since had roles in the films Confetti, Stormbreaker, I Want Candy, Telstar, The Comedian’s Guide to Survival, and Magik.
