Sharon Horgan

Sharon Horgan, born Sharon Lorencia Horgan on the 13th of July 1970 in Hackney, London and is an Irish actress, producer and writer. With a career beginning in the early 2000’s with roles in The State We’re In and Monkey Dust, these two sketch shows were hits and led to her larger roles in shows such as Absolute Power, alongside Stephen Fry. She then went on to make her film debut in Imagine Me & You, in which she played Beth alongside Lena Headey and Matthew Goode.

Best known for the comedy series Pulling, the critically acclaimed show was co-created by Horgan, who also starred in the show alongside Tanya Franks and Rebekah Staton. Continuing to work after the conclusion of the show,  Horgan went on to co-create and co-write another sitcom, Catastrophe, which has so far aired three seasons.
