Mandolin Orange

Mandolin Orange is an American folk duo formed in Chapel Hill, North Carolina in 2009. The members of the duo are Andre Marlin and Emily Frantz. In 2010 they independently released their debut studio album titled Quiet Little Room. They followed it up in 2011 with the release of their second independent studio album titled Haste Make / Hard Hearted Stranger. The duo was signed to Yep Roc Records in 2013 and released the albums This Side of Jordan, Such Jubilee, Blindfaller, and Tides of a TearDrop. Their most recent album Tides of a Teardrop charted at number 1 on the Heatseekers Albums chart, number 2 on the Billboard Folk Albums chart, number 13 on the Billboard Country Albums chart, number 31 on the Billboard Rock Albums chart, and number 164 on the Billboard 200 chart. The duo has toured around the United States and Europe and has played festivals like South by Southwest, Edmonton Folk Music Festival, Austin City Limits, Telluride Bluegrass Festival, and more.
