Cane Hill
Cane Hill is a heavy metal band from New Orleans, with the line-up of Elijah Witt (vocals), James Barnett (guitar), Ryan Henriquez (bass), and Devin Clark (drums), all of them familiar from the New Orleans metal scene already. The brothers Bemo and James Barnett had already been going by the name of Cane Hill while seeking recruits. Their sound is compared to being on the spectrum between the bands Pantera and Slipknot.
Cane Hill revealed their hardcore metal sound right out of the gate with their first singles “Sunday School” and “Time Bomb.” They signed with Rise Records soon after and released their self-titled debut album in 2015. Their sophomore album, “Too Far Gone” (2018) was ranked #1 on the Billboard Heatseeker chart. Cane Hill has toured with artists such as The Hollywood Undead, The Acacia Strain, For The Fallen Dreams, Blessthefall and Stick To Your Guns.
