Joy Behar
Joy Behar was born Josephine Victoria Occhiuto on October the 7th 1942 in New York and is an American comedian, actress and writer. With a career that began in the 1980’s with Good Morning America, the actress appeared as a stand up comedian on the show, where she was also a producer. While hosting talk shows such as Way Off Broadway, she continued to work in the comedy circuit and held roles such as Helga in the sitcom, Baby Boom as well as minor film roles in the likes of This Is My Life, Cookie and Manhattan Murder Mystery.
Becoming an original panel member on the long running talk show, The View in 1997, she won an Emmy for the show alongside other co hosts that include, Whoopi Goldberg, Barbara Walters and more. Still performing comedy, the artist has also authored several books such as The Great Gasbag: An A-Z Study Guide to Surviving Trump World, which was released in 2017.
