Dwyane Wade
Dwyane Wade is an American former professional basketball player born in Chicago, Illinois on January 17, 1982. He played basketball in high school at Harold L. Richards High School in Oak Lawn, Illinois. He went on to play college basketball at Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and played with the team from 2001 to 2003. In 2003 he was selected by the Miami Heat 5th overall in the 2003 NBA Draft. He played with the Miami Heat for most of his NBA career from 2003 to 2016. In 2016 he signed a two year deal with the Chicago Bulls, his hometown team, for $47 million. He played with the Bulls from 2016 to 2017. In 2017 he signed a contract with the Cleveland Cavaliers and played with them from 2017 to 2018. In 2018 Wade returned to the Miami Heat after being traded by the Cavaliers. He played with the Heat until 2019 and on April 9, 2019 played his last home game in Miami against the Brooklyn Nets. In 2004 he was a member of the U.S. National Team that competed in the 2006 FIBA World Championship in Japan and won a Bronze medal. In 2008 he played with the National Team in the 2008 Summer Olympics. They went unbeaten and earned the gold medal.
