ZZ Top
ZZ Top is an American Rock Band formed in Houston, Texas in 1969. The bands current members are Dusty Hill on lead and backing vocals, keyboards and bass guitar, Billy Gibbons on lead and backing vocals and guitar, and Frank Beard on backing vocals, drums and percussion. The original members of the band were Billy Gibbons, Lanier Greig, and Dan Mitchell. In 1971 they released their debut album titled ZZ Top’s First Album. While together they released a total of 15 albums, including Tres Hombres, Tejas, El Loco, Afterburner, Antenna, Rhythmeen, XXX, La Futura and others. They also released 4 live albums, 7 compilation albums, and 44 singles. Their albums sold more than 50 million copies worldwide and they have 11 gold, 7 platinum, and 3 multi-platinum albums. The band has also been involved in several films and television shows, including Back to the Future Part III, Two and a Half Men, King of the Hill and others. Throughout the bands time together they have been nominated and have won a number of awards and in 2014 they were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
