Tea Leoni
Tea Leoni was born as Elizabeth Tea Pantaleoni on February 25, 1966 in New York City, New York. She attended Sarah Lawrence College but never finished, and instead moved on to star in Angels 88, an at-the-time more modern version of the 1970s show Charlie’s Angels. This kickstarted her career on television, playing in shows like Frasier, Flying Blind, Santa Barbara, and Madam Secretary. She has even played as herself in The X-Files episode “Hollywood A.D.” in 2000.
Her film career started with Switch (1991) before playing in other films such as Bad Boys (1995), where she had a lead female role as Julie Mott, Jurassic Park III as Amanda Kirby, and The Family Man (2000) as Kate Reynolds, from which she won the 2000 Saturn Award for “Best Actress.” Her most recent accomplishes come from Madam Secretary (2014), being nominated for the People’s Choice Award of “Favorite Actress in a New TV Series.”
