Chris Paul
Christopher Emmanuel Paul was born on May 6, 1985 in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. He is an American professional basketball player. Paul joined as the point guard for the Houston Rockets of the National Basketball Association (NBA).
He attended High school at West Forsyth in Clemmons, North Carolina. Paul also played college basketball for Wake Forest (2003–2005). He was drafted in the first round as the 4th overall pick in the 2005 NBA draft by the New Orleans Hornets.
He won the NBA All-Star 9x (2008–2016), NBA All-Star Game MVP (2013), All-NBA First Team 4x (2008, 2012–2014), All-NBA Second Team 3x (2009, 2015, 2016), All-NBA Third Team (2011), NBA All-Defensive First Team 7x (2009, 2012–2017), NBA Rookie of the Year (2006), NBA All-Rookie First Team (2006), steals leader 6x (2008, 2009, 2011–2014), Consensus first-team All-American (2005), USA Basketball Male Athlete of the Year (2004), and North Carolina Mr. Basketball (2003). He also won medals representing the United States: 2 gold medals at the Olympic Games – 2008 in Beijing and 2012 in London, and a bronze medal at the FIBA World Championship in Japan in 2006.
