Sam Claflin
Sam Claflin is an English actor who attended the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art, which he followed with his acting debut in 2010, where he appeared in two miniseries, The Pillars of the Earth and Any Human Heart. In that same year he portrayed Phillip in the fourth instalment of the Pirates of the Caribbean film series. He then played William in Snow White and the Huntsman alongside Kristen Stewart and Chris Hemsworth.
He came to mainstream prominence with his portrayal of Finnick Odair in the Hunger Games film franchise starting Jennifer Lawrence. Claflin was praised for his portrayal of the character and the films were all commercial successes. Most recently the actor has starred in the Saul Dibb directed adaptation of the play of the same name, he works alongside Asa Butterfield and Paul Bettany, in which he plays Captain Stanhope.
