Jacob Banks

Jacob Banks is an R&B artist who has joined the world-renowned Birmingham music scene. His big splash into fame came after winning the 2012 MOBO UnSung regional competition, and the Adidas “Are You In” music competition, leading him to become the first unsigned act to ever appear on BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge.

Jacob Banks soon had a full dance card, supporting fellow musicians like East London hip-hop artist Plan B and British vocal artist Emeli Sandé on her spring 2013 tour. He’s been featured in nine other artists’ songs, including “Jail” by Nick Brewer, “I Can’t Wait” by All About She, and “Blame it On Love” by Uppermost. Under various labels he’s released three EPs and eight singles.
