Tokyo Jetz
Tokyo Jetz is the stage name of the American rapper Shauntrell Pender. She was born in Jacksonville, Florida on October 26, 1994. She is best known for her popular singles “The One” and “No Problem.” She started writing poetry in high school, which eventually led to her rapping. Pender started gaining attention online after releasing several freestyle raps that were recorded from her car. Her freestyles and remixes have received millions of plays. In 2016 she was signed to T.I.’s label Grand Hustle Records. The next year she released her debut album titled Viral. The album featured artists like T.I., Sy Ari Da Kid, London Jae and others. In 2017 she collaborated with the music collective Hustle Gang on the single “Friends.” She released her second album Bonafide and her debut EP 90’s Baby in 2018. Tokyo also has a large following on social media with 1.3 million followers on Instagram, 350k followers on Facebook, and 100k followers on Twitter.
