Sophia Lillis

Sophia Lillis is an American actress born in Crown Heights, New York City on February 13, 2002. She is best known for her roles in the films It and Nancy Drew and the Hidden Staircase, and for her role in the television miniseries Sharp Objects. Lillis started acting at seven years old, and started taking acting classes at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute. In 2014 she made her debut in film in the movie A Midsummer Night’s Dream and continued landing roles in the films 37, It, Nancy Drew and the Hidden Staircase, It: Chapter Two, Gretel and Hansel, Uncle Frank, The Burning Season, and Before I Sleep. She made her debut in television in 2018 in the show Sharp Objects. She has also made appearances in the music videos for the songs “Nothing to Find” by The War on Drugs, and “Santa’s Coming for Us” by Sia. Lillis has been nominated for several awards and in 2018 won an MTV Movie + TV Award for her role in the film It.
