Rage Against The Machine
Rage Against The Machine is an American rap metal band formed in Los Angeles, California in 1991. The members of the band are Zack de la Rocha on vocals, Tom Morello on guitars, Tim Commerford on backing vocals and bass guitar, and Brad Wilk on drums and percussion. They released their debut studio album in 1992 self-titled Rage Against the Machine. The album charted at number 45 on the Billboard 200, number 12 on the Australian Albums chart, and number 17 on the UK albums chart. They have since released the albums Evil Empire, The Battle of Los Angeles, and Renegades. All of their studio albums have charted on the Billboard 200 chart with two albums reaching number one. Their albums have also charted in several other countries. They have also released two live albums, one compilation album, one demo, and four video albums. Their albums have sold over 16 million copies worldwide. They have been nominated for several awards and have won two Grammy Awards, an NME Award, a Kerrang! Award, and a Classic Rock and Roll of Honour Award.
