Mark Lanegan
Mark Lanegan was born as Mark William Lanegan on November 25, 1964 in Ellensburg, Washington. His introduction through the world of rock was through his band Screaming Trees. His first work as a solo artist was the 1990 album The Winding Sheet. Four years later, he released Whiskey for the Holy Ghost. It took another four years before he could release Scraps at Midnight followed by another album, I’ll Take Care of You, in 1999.
The year 2001 saw the release of Field Songs and Bubblegum followed in 2004. Bubblegum made it to No. 39 of Billboard’s Top Independent Albums chart.
He released Blues Funeral, Imitations, and Phantom Radio in 2012, 2013, and 2014, respectively. His latest album, Gargoyle, was released in 2017. Aside from his own music, he is a featured artist on Nicole Atkins’ “November Rain” and Andrew Joslyn’s “Desiderata.”
