Tommy Flanagan
Tommy Flanagan is a Scottish actor born in Glasgow, Scotland on July 3, 1965. He is best known for his role in the television series Sons of Anarchy as Flip Telford. Before taking up acting he worked several jobs, he was a painter, decorator, and a DJ in local clubs is Glasgow. He got into acting after being viciously attacked while working one night as a DJ and received numerous scars from the attack. After his recovery he decided to work in theater acting in roles in the productions of Wasted, One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest’, and MacBeth. He landed roles in several television shows, but made his debut into film in 1995 in the film Braveheart. Throughout his career he has racked up an extensive amount of roles in film and television shows, including Sin City, Smokin’ Aces, Alien vs. Predator, Gladiator, Papillon, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, Law & Order, 24, Peaky Blinders, Gotham, and many more. He is also the ambassador for the Scottish drink Irn-Bru.
