Adam Sandler
Adam Richard Sandler was born on September 9, 1966, in New York, New York. He is best known for his roles in comedy movies. His career started on the MTV’s Remote Control and later he appeared on Saturday NIght Live. He had gotten this role thanks to the movie Going Overboard, which was released in 1989.
After his NBC experience, Adam Sandler started his movie career. His early movies were Happy Gilmore in 1996, The Water Boy in 1998, Big Daddy in 1999, and Little Nicky in 2000. His movies were doing well at the box office, especially when he starred in 50 First Dates alongside Drew Barrymore. He has also tried other genres of movies, such as The Longest Yard in 2005, Reign Over Me in 2007, and Click in 2006. He returned to comedy with the movies I Now Pronounce You Chuck & Larry (2007) and You Don’t Mess With the Zohan (2008). His 2011 film Jack and Jill grossed about $26 million in the first weekend after its release. He has won several MTV Awards, Teen Choice Awards, and People’s Choice Awards among many others.
