Aidan Quinn
Aidan Quinn is an Irish-American actor born in Rockford, Illinois on March 8, 1959. He is best known for his roles in the films Avalon, Legends of the Fall, Practical Magic, and Desperately Seeking Susan. His career in acting started in theater productions, he made his debut on the stage in 1979 in a production of The Man in 605. He has also been in the productions of Scheherazade, The Irish Hebrew Lesson, Fool for Love, Hamlet, A Lie of the Mind, A Streetcar Named Desire, The Exonerated, Trumbo: Red, White, and Blacklisted, and Conversations in Tusculum. In 1984 he made his debut in film in the movie Reckless and has since been in the films Stakeout, Avalon, The Handmaid’s Tale, Frankenstein, This Is My Father, Practical Magic, Return to Sender, and more. He made his debut on television in the television film An Early Frost. He has also been in the television movies and shows A Private Matter, Two of Us, Cavedweller, Weeds White Collar, Prime Suspect, Elementary, and others. Throughout his career he has been nominated for a number of awards and has won a Theater World Award, A Sundance Film Festival Award, and an Irish Film & Television Award.
