Alan Alda
Alan Alda, born Alphonso Joseph D’Abruzzo on January 28th 1936 in New York and is an American author, screenwriter, director and actor. With a career that began in the late 50’s he is a seven-time Emmy Award and Golden Globe winner. Alda is best known for portraying Captain Hawkeye Pierce in the long running hit television show M*A*S*H and hosting Scientific Frontiers as well as his work in The West Wing as Arnold Vinick.
In the actors long career he has also worked in television shows such as 30 Rock alongside Alec Baldwin and Tracy Morgan. Alda has also worked on The Big C, Horace and Pete. Alda has most recently starred in Steven Spielberg’s Bridge of Spies and the James Spader starring hit television show The Blacklist.
