All-American Rejects
Coming from Stillwater, Oklahoma, the All-American Rejects is an alternative pop rock band found in 2000. Members Tyson Ritter and Nick Wheeler was influenced by the music of Def Leppard, AC/DC, and Bon Jovi leading to their forming of the band while still in high school. At first, they did a pre-recorded arrangement for their drums and rhythm for their self-titled debut.
That album found itself being issued to the national audience via DreamWorks. Their single “Swing, Swing” became a sensation which attracted the Interscope Records for a record deal. In 2002, new members Mike Kennerty and Chris Gaylor joined the duo thus forming a complete All-American Rejects. Their “Move Along” album was released in 2005.
