Andre Iguodala
Andre Iguodala is an American professional basketball player born in Springfield, Illinois on January 28, 1984. He currently plays as a shooting guard and a small forward for the Golden State Warriors in the NBA. He started playing basketball from a young age and played for the school team at his high school Lanphier High School. He went on to attend college at the University of Arizona and played there for two years before declaring for the 2004 NBA Draft. In 2004 he was drafted by the Philadelphia 76ers 9th overall in the 2004 NBA draft. He started playing immediately for the team and was the only member of the team to start in all the season games plus 5 playoff games. He stayed with the 76ers for 8 years until he was traded to the Denver Nuggets in 2012. In 2010 he was a member of the United States national team at the 2010 FIBA World Championships and in 2012 at the Summer Olympics where they won gold medals in both events. He played for the Denver Nuggets from 2012 to 2013. In 2013 he signed a four-year contract with the Golden State Warriors for $48 million dollars. In 2017 he re-signed with the Warriors for 3 years for $48 million and continues to play with them to this day.
