Anna Torv

Anna Torv was born on the 7th of June 1979 in Melbourne and is an Australian actress. With training from Australia’s National Institute of Dramatic art, she began a career in theatre before gaining various film roles in The Book of Revelation and Travelling Light, with a recurring role in Mistresses, a British drama series.

Torv then became known for appearing in the American science fiction series, Fringe, where she portrayed Olivia Dunham, working alongside actors such as Joshua Jackson, John Noble and Seth Gabel. Since the conclusion of the show, she worked on television shows such as The Pacific and Deadline Gallipoli. Most recently, Torv has appeared in the critically acclaimed Netflix series, Mindhunter as Wendy Carr, her performance in this show has been highly praised.
