Barry Bonds
Barry Bonds was born as Barry Lamar Bonds in Riverside, California on July 24, 1964. He broke a Major League baseball record set by Hank Aaron of 755 home runs on August 2007.
He started his career in Major League in 2006 with the Pittsburgh Pirates. In 1993, he decided to join the San Francisco Giants. His 500th home run happened during the 2001 season. In the same year, he broke the Major League record set by Mark McGwire, which was 70 home runs, when he made 73 during that season.
In 2003, he won the Most Valuable Player Award in the National League. He received another MVP award, his seventh, in 2004. His career ended in the 2008 season with 762 home runs and eight Gold Glove Awards.
