Bellowhead
Folk band Bellowhead is an 11-member English group that as of 2014, is comprised of John Spiers, Jon Boden, Benji Kirkpatrick, Paul Sartin, Rachael McShane, Ed Neuhauser, Pete Flood, Andy Mellon, Brendan Kelly, Justin Thurgur, and Sam Sweeny. The band itself is comprised of six vocalists, four brass players, as well as percussion. There are over instruments that are played by the band members. John Spiers and Jon Boden were the original two who came up with the idea of the band, and after they invited some of their musician friends to join them, Bellowhead released their EP E.P. Onymous in 2004. The followed this initial success two years later with the album Burlesque, and later Matachin in 2008, Hedonism in 2010 – the band’s most successful album – Broadside in 2012, and Revival in 2014.
