Big and Rich

Big and Rich is an American country duo based out of Nashville, TN. The members are Big Kenny and John Rich, both of whom had solo careers before joining together. Big Kenny was also a member of the band Lonestar. The duo has released five studio albums so far, starting with 2004’s Horse of a Different Color, which included the hit song “Save a Horse (Ride a Cowboy)”. The duo took a hiatus between 2008 and 2011 to pursue solo projects; in 2012 they rejoined to release Hillbilly Jedi with the single “That’s Why I Pray”, which debuted at number 24 on the charts. Two of Big and Rich’s albums, Horse of a Different Color and Between Raising Hell and Amazing Grace, have hit number 1 on the US Country charts. The duo has worked with Cowboy Troy, Hank Williams Jr., and Billy Joe Shaver, among others. Both members of the group are committed to giving back through foundations like the United Nations Foundation, Red Cross, and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. John Rich was also on the 2011 season of The Celebrity Apprentice.
