Big Scary

Big Scary is an indie pop duo from Australia that has been active since the mid-2000s. Releasing a few singles as early as 2008, the duo first started gaining attention online for their 2010 series of EPs, The Four Seasons EPs.. Titled Autumn, Winter, Spring, and Summer, the four EPs were eventually compiled into a single release of thirteen tracks at the end of the year. They earned a place on the national stage in 2013, with their second studio album, Not Art. The album won the 2014 Australian Music Prize of $30,000, and was also nominated for Best Independent Album by both the AIRAs and the AIR awards. Their third full-length album was announced for release in 2016.
