Boogie is a rapper from Compton and Long Beach who is noted for bridging the worlds of electronic music and hip hop. Meeting with the cofounder of Skrillex’s label in 2013 led him to record his debut mixtape, Thirst 48, which was released in 2014. He released the follow-up, The Reach, a year later. The Reach found success online in large part due to hit single “Oh My,” the music video for which racked up over two million plays in one year. He has earned co-signs from the likes of Kendrick Lamar and Skrillex.
