Brian Dozier
Brian Dozier was born in Fulton, Mississippi on May 15, 1987. He was the 8th round pick of the Minnesota Twins in the 2009 MLB Amateur Draft. He served as the second baseman. In 2011, he was chosen as the Twins Minor League Player of the Year. In 2018, the Twins traded him to the Los Angeles Dodgers, and in October of that year, he became a free agent. Dozier’s achievements include winning the AL Wilson Defensive Player in 2013 and bagging Gold Gloves in the 2017 American League. He also played in the All-Star in 2015. In college, Dozier went to the University of Southern Mississippi. While in college, he was named Freshman All-American and was chosen for the Conference USA All-Freshman Team. He also played in the 2009 College World Series.
