Brock Osweiler
Brock Osweiler is an American football player born in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho on November 22, 1990. He is a quarterback and is currently a free agent. He played high school football and basketball at Flathead High School in Kalispell, Montana. During his senior year he was named Gatorade Player of the year in football. Osweiler was initially going to pursue college basketball and committed to going to Gonzaga University but instead decided to focus on football. He played college football at Arizona State University for the Sun Devils and was on the team from 2009 to 2011. He entered the 2012 NFL draft and was chosen by the Denver Broncos in the second round, 57th overall. Osweiler signed a four-year rookie contract with the Broncos for $3.5 million. He made his NFL debut in the 4th week of the 2012 season against the Oakland Raiders. In 2016 he was the active backup quarterback in Super Bowl 50 against the Carolina Panthers. The Broncos beat the Panthers 24-10. In 2016 he signed a four year contract with the Houston Texans for $72 million with $37 million guaranteed. In 2017 he was traded to the Cleveland Browns, but was released by the Browns later that year. He signed a 1 year contract with the Denver Broncos in 2017. In 2018 he signed with the Miami Dolphins
