Brooks Koepka
Brooks Koepka is an American professional golfer born in West Palm Beach, Florida on May 3, 1990. Koepka played golf in college at Florida State University where he won three events and was a three-time All-American. He started his professional career in 2012 and played on the Challenge Tour in Europe. That year he won his first title at the Challenge de Catalunya. In 2013 he won for the second time at the Montecchia Golf Open and the next month had his third win at the Fred Olsen Challenge de Espana. In 2014 he played in the PGA Championship and came in 15th. He was nominated for the PGA Tour Rookie of the Year Award. He won his first PGA Tour event in 2015 in the Waste Management Phoenix Open and became number 19 in the Official World Golf Ranking. In 2017 he claimed the U.S. Open title at Erin Hills, Wisconsin and was tied for the record lowest U.S. Open score with 16 under. In 2018 he won the CJ cup and became the World Number 1 in the Official World Golf Ranking.
