Cafe Tacvba
Café Tacvba is an alternative rock band formed in 1989 in Mexico City in Mexico. The group is made up of Rubén Albarrán, Emmanuel del Real, Enrique Rangel, and Joselo Rangel. The original name of the group was Alicia ya no vive aquí before they decided on Café Tacvba.
The band released a self-titled debut album in 1992 which contained six hit songs. The next album released by the band Re was recognized by Rolling Stone magazine as one of the 10 Greatest Latin Rock Albums of All Time.
In 1996, the group released the album Avalancha de Éxitos which made it to the Billboard Latin Pop chart at No. 12 and is ranked No. 28 on the Top Latin Albums. Café Tacvba also collaborated with Calle 13, a duo, for the song No Hay Nadie Como Tú which also topped the charts.
