Cam Newton
Cameron Jerrell “Cam” Newton was born on May 11, 1989, in Atlanta, Georgia. He played football for his high school, Westlake High School, in Georgia. He played for two years as a member of the Florida Gators football team of University of Florida before transferring to Blinn College and then Auburn University. He was drafted as the first overall pick for quarterback in the 2011 NFL Draft by the Carolina Panthers. Newton has received numerous awards during his professional football career, including NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year in 2011, NFL Most Valuable Player in 2015, NFL Most Valuable Offensive Player of the Year in 2015, and is a three-time Pro-Bowl Winner (2011, 2013, and 2015).
