Caskey
Born Brandon Caskey on August 28, 1992, rapper Caskey was raised in Florida and became interested in heavy metal music at a young age. After his sister introduced him to rap music, he shifted his focus to that genre. Caskey spent the early 2010s in the studio, and later released the mixtapes Blowin’ Out My Mind Vol. 1, The Intangibles, and Homegrown Vol. 1. Caskey eventually linked up with the production group The Avengerz, who helped him to record and release his fourth mixtape No Complaints. The young rapper was signed to Cash Money Records shortly after putting out No Complaints, later releasing his debut single “Keep It on the Low”. In late 2013, he released the mixtape The Transient Classics, and announced that year that he would be in the studio working on his debut album.
