Catherine McGrath

Catherine McGrath is an Irish country singer and songwriter born in Rostrevor, Northern Ireland on June 9, 1997. She had an interest in music from a young age, coming from a family of musicians. As a child her grandmother taught her how to play the guitar. She started her career filming videos of herself singing covers of current hits and posting them on YouTube. Her videos got the attention of the talent agency Instrumental and she moved to London to be part of the company. She would travel to Nashville, Tennessee to write songs and record music. In 2016 she was signed to the label Warner Bros. and that same year released her debut EP titled One. In 2017 she released her second EP titled Starting from Now. She released her debut studio album in 2018 titled Talk of This Town that reached number one on the UK Country Album chart. That same year she won International Emerging Artist of The Year in a fan-voted poll run by the Australian country radio show Planet Country.
