Charlotte Day Wilson
Charlotte Day Wilson is a Canadian pop, R&B, and soul singer, songwriter, and producer born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. As a child she studied classical piano. As she became a teenager she taught herself how to produce music with the digital audio workstation GarageBand. In 2012 she released her debut EP titled Palimpsest and in 2013 and 2014 she released the singles “Stephen”, “Montreal”, and “Avondale.” She started collaborating with the artists River Tiber, BadBadNotGood, and Daniel Caesar and released her second EP in 2016 titled CDW. The EP was nominated for the 2017 Polaris Music Prize and the song “Work” from the EP was nominated for the SOCAN Songwriting Prize in 2017. In 2018 the music video for the song “Work” won the 2018 Prism Prize. In 2018 she released her third EP titled Stone Woman.
