Chris Robinson Brotherhood
Formed by singer Chris Robinson, who is originally from the band Black Crowes, The Chris Robinson Brotherhood is a rock-blues band that came together in 2011. The band’s first album was released in June 2012 and was entitled Big Moon Ritual, and was followed by their sophomore album The Magic Door, released in September of the same year. Phosphorescent Harvest was released in April of 2014, and has enjoyed the most success out of the three, as it peaked at #61 on the U.S. charts.
The band is comprised of Chris Robinson, Neal Casal, Adam MacDougall, Mark Dutton, and George Sluppick, and they formed in Los Angeles as a casual jam band that would go around to local shows and perform for the crowds. They went on a highly successful US tour in 2011 and again in the summer of 2014.
