Cierra Ramirez
Cierra Ramirez is an American actress and singer born in Houston, Texas on March 9, 1995. She is best known for her role as Mariana Adams-Foster in the television show The Fosters. While in high school her family made the move to Los Angeles, California. At ten years old she made her television debut singing the song “Apollo Kids Star of Tomorrow” on Showtime at the Apollo in 2005. She continued landing roles in shows like CSI: Miami, Zoey 101, Desperate Housewives, The Suite Life of Zack & Cody, My Own Worst Enemy, Piper’s Quick Picks, The Talk, The Secret Life of the American Teenager, The Fosters, and Good Trouble. In 2006 she made her debut in film in the movie All In and also had roles in the films Star and Stella Save the World, Girl in Progress, Petting Scorpions, Drink Slay Love, and Marvel Rising: Secret Warriors. She was signed to Empire and Tribeca Music group and was an opening act for Earth Wind and Fire, Ruben Studdard, and Chicago. In 2016 she released her debut EP titled Discreet with the label Tribeca Music Group. Throughout her career she has been nominated for several awards and has won an Imagen Foundation Award, an ALMA Award, an HOLA Award, and a Horizon Award.
