Claire Foy
Claire Foy, born Claire Elizabeth Foy on April the 16th 1984 in Greater Manchester and is an English actress. With a career that began in 2008 with guest roles in Being Human and Doctors before she played Amy Dorrit in the television show, Little Dorrit, the beginning of a long and critically acclaimed career, some of her film roles include Vampire Academy and Rosewater.
Despite an impressive list of credits, Foy is best known for portraying Queen Elizabeth II in the Netflix television series The Crown, a role in which she worked alongside Matt Smith and Vanessa Kirby. For her work in the role, she has won a Golden Globe and two SAG Awards and has been nominated for an Emmy and BAFTA Award.
