Claude VonStroke

The name Claude VonStroke is a creation of Detroit native Barclay Crenshaw, who adopted the alias in 2005 when he set out on his journey to become a record label owner and DJ. That year, he created Dirtybird records, the label under which he was able to release his very first record entitled Deep Throat. Mixing fun beats with dance floor music, Claude VonStroke continued on his path to fame with the release of his single “Who’s Afraid of Detroit?”, which granted him the recognition he needed to begin touring the country as a DJ.

Claude VonStroke has released three studio albums to date, including Bird Brain in 2009 and Urban Animals in 2013. He has gained himself an enormous following not only due to his talent, but because of his good attitude when he is performing. He understands that when he performs, people want to dance and have a good time, and he is known for keeping that in the front of his mind when he DJs for his audience. Claude VonStroke is an artist that many publications are saying to keep an eye on, for his success has yet to peak.
