Collin Raye
Collin Raye is an American country music singer born in De Queen, Arkansas on August 22, 1960. In 1980 Collin and his brother started a country rock band called The Wray Brothers Band. In 1986 they were signed to Mercury Records and released four singles before disbanding. In 1990 Collin decided to go solo and was signed to Epic Records. He released his debut single in 1991 titled “All I Can Be (Is a Sweet Memory)” that reached number 29 on the Billboard Hot Country Singles & Tracks chart. He released his debut album that same year titled All I Can Be. The single on the album “Love, Me” reached number one on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. He has since released the albums, In This Life, Extremes, I Think About You, Christmas: The Gift, The Walls Came Down, Tracks, Can’t Back Down, Twenty Years and Change, Fearless, Never Going Back, His Love Remains, Still on the Line…The Songs of Glen Campbell, and Everlasting. In 2011 he became the national spokesperson for the Terri Schiavo Life & Hope Network.
