Courtney Marie Andrews
Courtney Marie Andrews is an American singer, songwriter, and musician born in Phoenix, Arizona on November 7, 1990. She started playing the guitar and writing songs at the age of 13 and started performing at 15 years old. She released her first studio album in 2008 titled Urban Myths with the label River Jones. She has since released the albums Painters Hands and a Seventh Son, No One’s Slate Is Clean, On My Page, Honest Life, and May Your Kindness Remain. In 2009 she was asked by Kim Adkins of the band Jimmy Eat World to sing with him on a live cover of the song “You and I.” She ended up singing backup vocals for Jimmy Eat World on five songs for their album Invented in 2010. In 2018 she was nominated for a Americana Music Honors & Awards for Emerging Artist of the Year and won a UK Americana Award for International Artist of the Year.
