Cristian Castro
Cristian Castro, born Cristian Saez Valdes Castro on December 8th, 1974 in Mexico City, Mexico is a singer and songwriter. He produced music in the genres of latin pop, pop, rock, bolero, mariachi, latin rock, alternative rock, and soft rock.Cristian made his first musical appearance on TV as a singer on the children’s program Juguemos a Cantar.
In 1992 Cristian began to sing professionally. He released his debut album called Agua Nueva. In 1993 he began to tour internationally with concerts in Puerto Rico. He released his second album in the same year called Un Segundo En El Tiempo. The song “Nunca Voy A Olvidarte” became his first number one hit on the Hot Latin Tracks chart. Cristian released his next album in 1994 called El Camino del Alma. In 1996 he released his next album called El Deseo De Oir Tu Voz and received a nomination nomination at the Lo Nuestro Awards for Male Pop Artists of the Year.
In 1997 Cristian signed with the label Sony BMG and released his first album on the label called Lo Mejor De Mi. In 1999 he released the album Mi Vida Sin Tu Amor. The album had four singles rank in the top 10 on Billboard’s Hot Latin Tracks. In 2005 he signed with Universal Music and released a new album called Dias Felices. In 2009 he followed up with the album El Culpable Soy Yo. Cristian is widely regarded as one of the best Hispanic singers in history.
