Damian Lillard

Damian Lamonte Ollie Lillard was born on July 15, 1990 in Oakland, California. He was drafted by the Portland Trail Blazers of the National Basketball Association (NBA) as a point guard. He played basketball in high school as well as at Weber State from 2008 – 2012. Lillard was the 6th overall selected player by the Portland Trail Blazers in the 2012 NBA Draft.

In 2013, Lillard won the NBA Rookie of the Year and NBA All-Rookie First Team. Lillard has other awards and honours including winning the NBA All-Star game twice  (2014, 2015),  All-NBA Second Team (2016), All-NBA Third Team (2014), NBA Rookie of the Year (2013), NBA All-Rookie First Team (2013), NBA Skills Challenge champion (2013, 2014), Third-team All-American – AP, NABC (2012), and  Big Sky Player of the Year twice (2010, 2012).
