Danny Trejo
Danny Trejo was born on May 16, 1944 in Echo Park, California. Danny started acting later in life with his first role coming in The Hidden (1987) before a flurry of films followed such as Lock Up (1989), Marked for Death (1990) and Mi Vida Loca (1993). It was his during this time that he formed a working relationship with director Robert Rodriguez, which would become pivotal to the rest of his acting career.
His character Machete, first seen in Spy Kids (2002), would prove to be his most recognizable character based on his role in this film as well as a number of spin offs. He has starred in a number of different projects in that time as well including Once Upon a Time in Mexico (2003), Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy (2004), The Devil’s Rejects (2005), Snoop Dogg’s Hood of Horror (2006), Delta Farce (2007), Grindhouse (2007), Rob Zombie’s Halloween (2007), Urban Justice (2007, Predators (2010) and Bad Ass (2012). As well as films he has also starred in several TV series including smash hit Breaking Bad.
